‘He’s one strong little tiger!’: Lucky newborn campground kitten becomes foster fail after wiggling her way into pawrent’s heart

Fostering kittens is one of the toughest jobs on the planet. With each new surprise arrival your life is flipped upside down as you spring into 24 hr care mode making sure that you do every single thing possible to keep the kitten safe and sound and growing. And with that investment and time comes connection, making it all the tougher to part ways with the kitten who you have given great amounts of time and love to. Which is precisely what happened to this veteran foster pawrent who managed to hand over several kittens until she met the one who would wiggle its way into her heart.

Named Micro for its absolutely tiny size, this cat was no more than a handful of kitten at best. A tiny little fur ball who on paper had little to no chance of surviving the early days of its life. But Micro had something that other kittens like it did not, a will to live unlike anything his foster pawrent had seen before. With time their bond deepened, they went on holiday together and the foster pawrent posted about his progress a whole bunch of times.

And while the pawrent did not quite see it herself the reddit community saw her foster fail coming from a mile away. So when she finally posted admitting defeat you can imagine the joy and elation that spread through the community.

Well, would you look at the little kitten that could. It is no small coincidence that this kitten was given such a diminutive name. Which is what makes it so special that this sweet heart is taking to his big boy food like a champ. Kittens, especially those that are found out in the open, are usually touch and go situations. Measured by successfully making it to the next meal. But it seems that for this tiny feline his name is merely motivation to push forward and live!

Hehe, it is hilarious that this hooman thought that there was even a tiny chance that this kitten was not going to end up as her own. All that they have been through, all that this kitten as overcome under her care. Heck, they have even been on holiday together. Something that so few cats and hoomans can say. But we are so delighted for both of them, it is so not to be taken for granted that these two found each other.
